Disney Theme Park Tickets

It used to be that Disney theme park tickets were “one size fits all”.  You bought a ticket for whichever park you wanted to visit, and you spent the day there.  Which actually wasn’t a bad idea, since you can’t see everything in a day – for any of the Walt Disney World theme parks.

However, it’s also nice to have options for your Disney park tickets!  Sometimes a park closes early for the day (like the Magic Kingdom when it has special events happening), and you’re still ready and raring to go!  It would be nice to spend some time in one of the other theme parks.

Now there are several options for your Disney World tickets, so let’s find the ones that best suit you!

Disney Park Hopper Tickets

This option lets you visit multiple parks in a single day.  Maybe EPCOT is your favorite park, but you’d like to see the Animal Kingdom as well.  With Disney World Park Hopper tickets, it’s no problem — visit as many of the parks as you want in a single day.

Definitely better than the old way, where you had to pay a full price ticket for each park admission.  Ouch!

No Expiration Tickets

If you love Disney World and plan to visit more than once, you really need to consider the No Expiration option.

You see, a regular Disney park ticket expires 2 weeks from which you first use it.  So if you bought multiple day tickets (which give you an excellent price discount), you had to use all those tickets within 2 weeks or you couldn’t use them anymore.

Now, with the no expiration option, you can get the multiple day discount and be able to enjoy the tickets for years to come!  So if you don’t use them all at your first trip, you can use them again in six months, six years or even 10 years from now!  And considering the way ticket prices go up, this option more than pays for itself.

Yes, there is a surcharge for this option (as with all the others), but it’s a small price in comparison to how much you can save by buying at least 5 days worth of Disney park tickets at a time.

Waterparks and More

The waterparks and more ticket options gives you the opportunity to visit the Disney waterparks (Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach) in addition to the theme parks.   If you’re looking for more than just the theme parks, consider this option.  However, please keep in mind that despite Florida having semi-tropical weather, we still do get cold snaps in the winter — one of the heated Disney pools might be a better choice at that time of year!
