Disney World Park Hopper Tickets
Disney World Park Hopper tickets are an option you really should consider if you’re spending more than one days at Disney World. Actually, it’s great even if you only spend one day at Disney. Come on, let’s talk about why the Park Hopper tickets are such a good deal for almost everyone!
What is a Park Hopper Ticket?
OK, so just what do these tickets do, and why would you want to spend extra for them? Because of the magic they bring!
It used to be that you purchased one ticket per day for each park you wanted to visit. So, if you (for example) wanted to visit both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT in one day, you’d have to purchase two tickets — one for ach partk. And at $70+ per ticket, that’s steep by anyone’s standards.
Then Disney got wise and dreamed up a way for a person to visit more than one park in a single day, and only have a small surcharge. Disney World Park Hopper tickets were born!
Here’s an Example of Why it’s Great
Since the Walt Disney World park hopper tickets let you move between two or more of the Disney theme parks in a single day, you can double (triple?) your pleasure. As an example, I’ll use the two most popular parks — Animal Kingdom and the Magic Kingdom.
Animal Kingdom closes fairly early, due to natural lighting — they don’t want to keep the animals up with artificial lights. So while there is a parade every day, there are no fireworks.
Now the Magic Kingdom, on the other hand, has the best fireworks display of any of the parks! And on most nights, they also have the Spectromagic parade, which also has cool lighting displays (it’s very much worth watching).
Without the Park Hopper option, you wouldn’t be able to see the Spectromagic parade at all. And while you can see the fireworks from right outside the Magic Kingdom entrance, the view is blocked by some of the buildings.
But with your Park Hopper ticket, you can go into the Magic Kingdom and experience the wonder! Especially since you’ll very likely have time for a few rides and/or a shopping excursion.

Do consider adding the Park Hopper option to your Walt Disney World park tickets. It’s a great way to experience more than one park in a single day for just a tiny bit extra. I know I’d never buy a Disney ticket without Park Hopper again!
