Disney World Ticket Prices

Disney World ticket prices have increased, unfortunately, as of August 5th, 2010.  So, what are the new prices?  Read on!

New Disney World Ticket Prices

The rates for ages 10 and up are now $83 per person, for a one-day pass.  The old rate was $79.

For ages 3 through 9, the rate is now $74 per child, for a one-day pass.  The old rate was $68.

Children 2 years and younger are still free.

Disney World Ticket Discounts

You need to know this:  Disney does not put its theme park tickets on sale, nor does it change prices with the seasons.  So in that regard, there aren’t any discounts.

However, if you buy a multi-day pass, your cost per day can drop dramatically.  Starting with a 3-day pass, ticket prices can go down to roughly $74 per day.  A 5-day pass gets you down to approximately $47 per day, while a 7-day pass drops that further, to $35 per day.

Nice savings!

And if you add on the no-expiration ticket option, your ticket prices are locked in for forever, or when you use them up (whichever comes first).  I personally try to buy a 5-day pass whenever I need more, and purchase the no-expiration option.  That way, I’m good to go for years, at the old price.

So, while the bad news is that there is an increase for Walt Disney World ticket prices, the good news is that Disney World is still worth it!
